As part of our corporate social responsibility for this year, we decided to sponsor Andimba Toivo Ya Toivo with new sports attire for the boys soccer team and ladies netball teams.
Event took place at Andimba Toivo Ya Toivo Secondary School In Ondangwa at around 7:30 today 25th October 2021.
After reading about our inclusive sponsor programme on our website, the school sports secretary wrote a letter to us requesting for sports attire (sponsorship for both soccer and netball outfits) as they believe this will ensure the school succeed in the Inclusive Education and in the Extra Curricular.
So when we got the letter for sponsorship, We felt obligated to give back to the school and help out where possible. Last year we sponsored the elderly with food parcels at Oshitayi village as part of our corporate social responsibility
and this year we decided to look to the youth. Amidst this covid pandemic we must learn to co-exist with the virus and thus embrace the new normal. My self being an active sportsman, I can allude to the benefits of sports. Sports does not only unify and keep us fit, but it also empower us with other skills such discipline, dedication and working as a team to achieve a common goal.
Wana Engineering Consulting sponsored the school with new Boys Soccer kit (shirts, shorts and socks) and ladies netball kits (Tops, skirts and bibs).
The gear is valued at approximately N$ 10 000.00 (Purchased locally from OTB Sprots, Oshakati).
